UX UI Designer/Developer en Demand Frontier

As Visual Designer you’ll be responsible for the creative execution of mobile, tablet and web interfaces to support our products and services. Design and user experience (UX) are at the forefront of everything we do. You'll have the opportunity to delight, inspire, engage and excite users while helping make the promise of the mobile enabled oil field a reality.

From prototyping to launch, you’ll have ownership over each step in the creative process. You’ll create the experience and then work with our engineering team for the execution. Along the way you’ll work closely with the Chief Experience Officer, on bringing new skills to be up-to-date on the latest techniques. The ideal candidate for this role must have had some experience in an agile or product development environment, have an excellent online portfolio and experience with HTML and CSS.
Responsibilities

• Define user models, storyboards, task flow, and prototypes for one or more of Knomatic’s consumer facing products
• Help create and maintain a consistent set of UI and interaction patterns across the Knomatic platform and Studio
• Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs effectively
• Participate in user experience research and usability studies

Min Skills

• 2 years’ experience designing outstanding web-based or mobile products
• Ability to tell the story of a product or service with sharp copy and crisp imagery, while demonstrating an understanding of modern digital media and technical aspects
• Excellent CSS and HTML skills; solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Sketch
• Understanding of the role of copywriting in building a great UI
• Proven ability to communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale, using the right media and fidelity within the user-centered design process
• Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadline
