JavaScript Tech Lead en UruIT

We just opened our new branch in Medellin. Do you want be a part of the foundational team? We are looking for a Rock Star Tech Lead not only with strong technical skills, but also with the passion and desire of inspiring a bunch of  ninja developers.

Our ideal Tech Lead will:

• Work closely with all members of the team, as well as with other agile teams in the company, in order to deliver high-quality code that will be tested and delivered across the full Software Development Life Cycle.

• Get  involved in the planning and architecture of future projects with the client.

• Be a mentor. Review code.

• Stay up to date by reading and coding, participate in tech conferences and internal open talks, sharing code in GIT or articles in our blog.

• Contribute with automation and best practices with the team. 

• Code, the majority of the time.
• Strong background in JavaScript development, especially in AngularJS and NodeJS.
• Having experience in continuous integration environments
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills in order to work smoothly within an agile team structure.
• Being very customer oriented, as well as being able to understand and act on customer needs.
• Having a good level of English in order to communicate with clients on a daily basis.

About You:

• You like challenges, and are used to translate the client’s most crazy ideas into a piece of good quality code.

• You don't give up. Instead, you ask for help when needed, and also offer your shoulder if someone else is stucked.

• You are willing to learn new programming frameworks because you are not afraid of trying new tools and thinking outside the box.

• You feel sad for the humanity when you read a bad piece of code, and you understand that automation and continuous integration makes your life easier.

• You like to travel and work with distributed teams, not only in Latin America but also in the US
