Testing Developer en Evsy

Evsy, is the community-based Electric Vehicles (EV) charging app that connects charge points with users at every charger, anywhere. We help help EV users and Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to save time, make better decisions and avoid conflicts

Evsy is seeking to hire a full-time Testing Developer. The Testing Developer plays a key role in the development of all our new products and features. As part of our agile team a successful candidate will use a variety of testing methodologies to validate new features and perform regression testing on the existing systems. The person in this role is responsible for testing mobile and web apps and will be responsible for the software validation testing cycle and ensure high expectations of our platform.

• Create, modify, and execute tests (including ad-hoc and interoperability) for mobile and web apps
• Understand software requirements, write test plans and other test documentation as required
• Regress, isolate, and report issues found during manual and automated testing
• Stay current on the latest network and security technologies, including data leakage technology
• Be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
• Creating and writing guidelines for testing new products
• Writing programs and scripts as necessary to automate the software testing
• Work closely with the different software team members (Mobile App, API, Front/Backend) to test new features
• Executing tests using diagnostic software
• Detailed understanding of QA concepts, STLC, SDLC, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or similar
• 2+ years of experience in Software Testing (required)
• Good understanding of Software Development and Test methodologies & practices
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java script, etc.
• Knowledge of App Automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, and other latest tools
• Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience)
• Willing to learn new technologies, accept challenges, and meet product timelines

- Have experience with Kobiton or similar
