📣We are looking for a Global Mobility Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team. This position will design proposals to improve and create policies related to the migration control activities of the company's inbound business and our subsidiaries, in accordance with current migration regulations in the destination country. This person will manage our current mobility process and help analyze market trends, make changes to offerings, maintain compliance with all legal requirements and propose process improvements to help Jane Street better navigate the complex global environment.
He will be the main point of contact for employees and related vendors including lawyers, tax advisors and relocation service providers for any international requests and transfers to the US, India and LATAM.

Funciones del cargo

  • Review current immigration processes and practices and rearchitect for global scale
  • Partner with business leaders to understand expansion goals and the impact on employee mobility and hiring. Build a strategy to ensure the business is able to meet its commercial goals in an efficient and compliant manner
  • Partner with the Legal Immigration Compliance team on program design, compliance audits, and third party vendor selection
  • Oversee all aspects of US and International immigration operations. This includes internally managed processes as well as any relevant outsourced activities
  • Partner with global relocation and recruiting, and other cross functional groups as appropriate, to ensure a high quality candidate experience for those requiring immigration support
  • For current employees, partner with HR, the business, relocation, corporate travel and tax to design high quality compliant experiences

Requerimientos del cargo

  • Designing proposals to improve or create policies related to the migration control activities of the company's employees and its subsidiaries, in accordance with the current regulations on migration in the country of destination.
  • To control the expenditure at the migratory flow level.
  • Conclude the necessary agreements and conventions to guarantee the legality and professionalism of the company's migratory processes with the different diplomatic entities.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient viability of the migration in subsidiaries and projects, providing concepts that favor the client's requirements, thus strengthening the execution times.
  • Establish the relevant relationships and contacts to serve as a liaison between the company and the immigration and diplomatic authorities for international mobilization needs.
  • Experience in Migratory Entities.
  • Implement within the company and subsidiaries global HR policies and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor rules and regulations, at international, local and corporate levels.
  • Provide advice to build employee policies, working together with the global team to ensure legal and strategic compliance of the company's talent.
