Job Details:

In this role, you'll work directly with our company’s team on a platform that uses generative AI to help medical patients get covered by health insurance for life-changing treatments. You will build features for our platform from the ground-up in direct collaboration with our Founding Engineer. We care deeply about your career growth, and we will help you build skills you want to build.

Job Responsibilities:

Feature Development: Design and build end-to-end product features (frontend and backend).
Debugging & Maintenance: Diagnose bugs, performance issues, and edge cases in a production environment.
Dev-Ops Support: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and basic infrastructure tasks.

Qualifications Required:

Exceptional software engineering skills, which we will measure in technical interviews and by talking to your previous employers with your permission.
5+ years of software engineering experience, with Full-Stack experience.
Python proficiency.
JavaScript proficiency.
Ability to work independently. We will collaborate closely with you, but you should be able to build new features on your own.
Relentlessly detail-oriented. You’ll build healthcare tools where trust and quality are nonnegotiable, and the standard is higher than in most industries.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to overlap with at least 3 workday-hours of EST time-zone (for example, 9am to 12pm EST).

Ideal, but not required:

Kubernetes and/or Docker experience.
TypeScript experience.
Node and/or React experience.
SQL experience.
Shell scripting experience / familiarity with *nix systems.
