What You Will Do

Build and maintain web scrapers to extract both structured and unstructured data from websites, catalogs, and online marketplaces.
Use tools like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or Playwright to handle dynamic content and site protections.
Schedule and monitor scraping jobs to ensure data quality, freshness, and resilience against changes in website structures.
Write robust, well-documented Python scripts suitable for integration into existing data pipelines.
Gracefully handle error cases such as rate limits, CAPTCHAs, and structural website changes.
Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to prioritize target data sources and scale data collection initiatives effectively.

What You Will Need

At least 2 years of experience developing Python-based web scraping solutions.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser behavior.
Proficiency with web scraping libraries and tools such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or Playwright.
Experience working with APIs, JSON, and diverse content formats.
Familiarity with proxies, headless browsers, and fundamental anti-bot evasion techniques.
Excellent debugging skills for quickly resolving scraper failures.
Basic knowledge of version control (Git) and databases (SQL or NoSQL) is advantageous.
Highly independent, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience with advanced anti-bot evasion methods and scalable data pipeline integration would be an asset. Knowledge of cloud-based scraping infrastructure and containerization technologies such as Docker can further enhance your ability to deliver performant solutions. Familiarity with commercial real estate or procurement domains is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams will help you drive impactful outcomes.
