HyreDay is expanding its Web Development team within a flexible, remote-friendly environment. The Web Development Specialist will play a key role in building and optimizing HyreDay’s web properties—ensuring fast, high-converting sites that support our marketing and business goals.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing and engineering, focusing on scalable website solutions that drive conversion, engagement, and ROI. You’ll work within a cross-functional environment to deliver landing pages, site enhancements, and integrations that align with SEO and Lifecycle initiatives—while maintaining a clean, maintainable codebase and a best-in-class user experience.

What you’ll own

Own the front-end and back-end performance of HyreDay’s web properties — from UX improvements and A/B testing to landing page builds and maintenance.
Turn marketing goals (like improving conversion rates or boosting user engagement) into clean, scalable, and effective website solutions.
Collaborate closely with our SEO, Paid, and Lifecycle teams to keep everything aligned and running smoothly.
Implement CRO-driven experiments using analytics tools, heatmaps, and data insights.
Manage integrations with CRMs, ESPs, and analytics platforms.
Keep our sites lightning-fast, mobile-optimized, and reliable.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a Web Development Specialist with 3–6+ years of experience in web development, ideally within an ecommerce setting. You should be fluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify), with experience across CMS platforms like Shopify, WordPress, or Webflow. A strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and UX best practices is essential. You should be detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive about identifying optimization opportunities. Bonus points for experience in backend development, custom app creation, or API integrations, as these will help you bridge marketing strategy with technical execution and deliver impact at scale.

Nice-to-have

Experience with backend development, API integrations, or building custom Shopify apps. Familiarity with server-side rendering, performance profiling, and modern frontend frameworks is a plus. A track record of delivering CRO-driven improvements and a collaborative mindset to work with marketing, SEO, and lifecycle teams is highly desirable.
