Job functions

The Sales Development Representative role is an individual contributor position working to expand Passport’s client base of some of the best known direct to consumer brands. You will be working along-side fellow Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives. Your role will be seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, hungry to learn, and join a high growth organization. This role is a great opportunity for someone who has some sales experience or is looking to start a career in sales.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Build Passport’s client base through identifying qualified opportunity leads from marketing campaigns and cold outreach
  • Reach out to prospects via email, phone, and social media to introduce Passport Global & Passport Shipping’s services
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings or calls for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in our CRM system
  • Work hand in hand with fellow SDRs to share successful techniques and build comradery in our remote environment
  • Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and appointments

Desirable skills

  • Proven experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in the logistics or e-commerce industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales enablement tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Intrinsic motivation to grow within a Sales org with a knack for building team comradery
